West New York Officers Need Massive Turnout
for Anti-Layoff Rally

NJLawman.com
Police and Law Enforcement News
Tuesday, July 14, 2009
11:50 a.m.

Officers with the West New York Police Department are staring down the barrel of a 22-officer layoff, and they're asking for your help.

On Wednesday, July 15 a rally will be held in front of the West New York Town Hall.  They have sounded the call to arms and are asking for support from far and wide.

If you cannot make it, then email everyone in your address book, and ask them to do the same!

A line from the spirited email sent out this week reads, "This is the type of event that needs a large group to show support or this can happen at other pd's, maybe yours will be next."

That is 100% accurate, and we have to start showing massive numbers at these events.

Here are the particulars:

Date:        Wednesday, July 15, 2009
Time:        11:00 a.m.
Location:   West New York Town Hall (Mapquest Map) (Google Map)

Again, make every effort to go or at least help spread the word.
