The Borough of Old Tappan Police Department will be accepting
registrants for the Police entry level examination to be held on
Wednesday February 26, 2014.
Interested persons may register and receive the examination study guide
beginning Monday, January 27th through Thursday, February 20, 2014.
Qualified applicants are required to be 18-35 years of age, a citizen of
the United States and a resident of the State of New Jersey.
Candidates must have an Associate's degree or a minimum of 60 completed
college credits, or have been honorably discharged from active duty from
any branch of the United States Military.
There is a non-refundable processing fee of One Hundred ($100.00)
Registrants must provide a resume, a copy of their valid driver's
license, birth certificate, proof of college degree/credits or honorable
