The Cedar Grove Police Department will be accepting
resumes from persons interested in interviewing for the position of
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and upon
appointment must have successfully completed the Basic Course for Police
Officers as administered by a NJ Police Training Commission Certified
Police Academy and be eligible for PTC Certification.
In addition, applicants must have at least 60
college credits from an accredited institution; or 30 college credits
and 2 years U.S. Military with an Honorable Discharge or at least 30
college credits and 2 years police experience with a New Jersey Police
All applicants must be capable of acceptance into
the NJ Police & Firemanís Retirement System.
