The Township of Hamilton is accepting applications for the position
of Police Officer from candidates who possess a valid New Jersey Police
Training Certification or a New Jersey Police Training Certification
from a New Jersey Alternate Route Police Academy.
The applicant must be a citizen of the United States, a resident of
New Jersey; able to read, write, and speak the English language; be
sound in body and health; be of good moral character and have not been
convicted of any criminal offense involving moral turpitude; possess an
Associate’s Degree or 60+ credits in a matriculated program from an
accredited college; possess a valid New Jersey drivers license, and
undergo written testing, drug screening, psychological testing, and oral
interviews. Residency preference will be applied to the process.
