Caught on Body Cam

A chaotic scene all caught on video was released Tuesday by the Albuquerque Police Department.

The raw video was spliced together by the Albuquerque Journal into a chronological excerpt of the most dynamic parts of the incident.  The actual encounter took place on October 26, 2013.

By the time the suspect was brought down, four police officers had been shot.

The majority of the video was taken from body cams worn by Albuquerque officers.

In one of the latter sections, you see an officer apparently firing an M-4-type weapon through his front windshield.

It doesn't seem so crazy once you see the video and watch it in context of what was happening that day.
