The animal responsible for this brutal assault represents the most vile segment of our species.  Even a charge of attempted murder seems to fall short of what this despicable piece of garbage deserves.

The victim, Mohammed Deen, an 18-year veteran of the New York City Police Department remains in a medically induced coma.

The attack took place last weekend outside a Queens restaurant.  The video shows the suspect launching a vicious sucker punch and following it up with one of the most brutal attacks ever caught on video.  To make matters worse, the attack took place in front of Deen's wife.

All our prayers go out to Mohammed Deen and his family.

Warning... This video is extremely graphic.
