Driver Killed After Hitting Police Car at 130 MPH

Jeremiah Eldon Johnson, 33, had previous run-ins with the law, so when an officer from Indianola, Iowa tried to pull him over for an obstructed license plate, Johnson wasn't having it.

He sped away in his Volkswagen Passat and accelerated to maximum speeds.

Johnson, clearly, gave little thought to the dangers that come with driving as fast as 130 MPH at 3:00 a.m.  He also gave little thought to his five-year-old son who, unbeknownst to police, was in the car with him.

An unoccupied police car stopped at an intersection vanished in the video taken by a second police car after being struck by Johnson's car.

Johnson was killed in the wreck.

Miraculously, his young son was found on the floor of the car under a pile of clothes.  He was crying but okay.
