Monmouth County Sheriffs Officers Make
Significant Drug Arrest

Asbury Park, New Jersey- A man pulled
over for a motor vehicle stop ended up behind bars after Monmouth
County Sheriff’s Officers found a
large amount of cocaine on him. Tyshaun Fitzpatrick, 21, of Lakewood was approached by the officers
for double parking his car on the 700 block of 5th Avenue in Asbury
Park. After Fitzpatrick was asked to exit the car, cocaine was found
in his pocket and he was arrested.
Fitzpatrick was charged with
possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with
intent to distribute and possession of a CDS in a school zone. He
was taken to the Monmouth County Jail where bail was set at
$175,000.
“I commend these officers for a job
well done,” said Sheriff Kim Guadagno. “They work hard to keep our
neighborhoods safe and an arrest like this will help ensure that.”
The arresting officers were Sheriff’s
Officers David Lasko and Kurt Kroeper.
