Morris County Park Police Go Above and Beyond

MORRIS COUNTY - Santa got around Morris County this year a little faster using his police motorcycle.

On Thursday, December 22, 20005, he was delivering toys and gifts to children in Morris County hospitals and shelters.

Santa Claus, (aka) Chief William Huyler, of the Morris County Park Police Department dressed in a full Santa's suit and rode the departments BMW police motorcycle greeting passing motorists as the caravan of police vehicles made there way throughout the county.

Officers from the department delivered over 500 toys to ill and needy children.

This is our forth year for the Saddle Up For Toys drive, and every year the program grows.

It’s great to see the happiness on the children’s faces said Det. Abline.

Nice job Morris County Park PD and the officers involved.
